A PARENT COMPANY
We are a parent company, one which has a controlling or majority interest in other companies, which gives us the right to control subsidiary's operations. Parent companies can be directly involved in the management of their subsidiaries, or they can have a more hands-off approach.
A HOLDING COMPANY
We are a holding company; a type of financial organization that owns a controlling interest in other companies, which are called subsidiaries. The parent corporation can control the subsidiary's policies and oversee management decisions but doesn't run day-to-day operations.
